Two Men Realize at 38-Years-Old They Were SWITCHED AT BIRTH
This should absolutely end up as a Netflix docuseries because OMG! Kyle Bylin and Jeremy Morrison, along with their parents, have filed suit against Unity Medical Center in Grafton, North Dakota, alleging hospital staff switched them as newborns on January 26, 1988.
The mix-up was discovered after Kyle got a Christmas DNA kit, which showed no biological match to his family except an aunt. He contacted Jeremy who then tested himself, confirming the switch.
The lawsuit charges negligence, emotional distress, and medical malpractice. Kyle still holds his original hospital ID bracelet bearing the wrong name as physical evidence, which is also crazy the parents never noticed that. The hospital has moved to dismiss the case, citing no surviving records from 1988. Despite growing up with a family that was not biologically his, Jeremy says, “I was loved. I played sports. I did well in school. A DNA test is not going to take away 38 years of memories.”
