Martha Stewart Apologizes for Halloween Costume Choice: “I Was Stupid”
Martha Stewart caused quite a controversy with her choice of Halloween costume, dressing as a homeless person. Her first response was to blame TODAY’s Craig Melvin saying he spilled chocolate on her forcing a last-minute change. Now she says that was “a joke.”
Stewart said, “I’m aware of all those social issues…and I care desperately about all the problems facing us, but I made a mistake. I was stupid,” she said. She also apologized to Craig for blaming him, jokingly, of course.
