95 WIIL ROCK BREAKDOWN 11/06/2026…. Hatebreed…. Ozzfest… Opeth….

First off, Hatebreed just dropped a brand-new single called “Decisions Become Destinies,” and their new album Fatal Paradox arrives tomorrow, November 6th. It’s their first full-length album in six years, so apparently Jamey Jasta and the guys decided everybody’s had enough time to relax. The new record has 11 tracks, including a guest appearance from Cannibal Corpse vocalist George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher. Because apparently regular angry music just wasn’t angry enough. If you’ve got some aggression you’ve been holding onto, Hatebreed has apparently got your Friday afternoon covered.

Well, metalheads, start making plans because Ozzfest is officially coming back in 2027! Sharon Osbourne announced three stops: July 10th in Milton Keynes, England, September 11th in San Bernardino, California, and September 18th in Mexico City. That’s right, Ozzfest is going international. And this will be the first Ozzfest since Ozzy passed away. Sharon will be putting together the lineup, but we don’t have any bands announced just yet. So the big question is, who’s playing? And more importantly, who’s willing to play for something less than the national debt? Apparently, that’s been an issue with some of these bands and their management. Either way, Ozzfest is back, and that’s pretty damn cool.

And finally, if you’re an Opeth fan, you might want to enjoy these next few shows because the band says they’re stepping away for a pretty long break after their current Latin American tour. Bassist Martin Mendez says they’re wrapping up the touring cycle for The Last Will and Testament. And apparently, these guys need some time to relax, recharge, and eventually start working on new music. Imagine that. A bunch of musicians admitting they’re exhausted and need a vacation. Meanwhile, the rest of us have been waiting for a vacation since 2019. Get some rest, boys. You’ve earned it.
