Man shot dead on South Side identified, suspect in police custody

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A man shot and killed Monday night after a disturbance on the South Side is now identified.
According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, the victim was Richard Arnold Carrillo Jr., 39. His name was released on Tuesday, and he was one of two people shot.
The San Antonio Police Department says a 62-year-old man was also shot, and he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. His current status is unknown.
A 34-year-old male was found at a nearby motel, and News 4 San Antonio reports he was arrested and charged with murder. The name of the suspect has not been released.
