Heat Advisory issued for San Antonio, I-35 Corridor Wednesday

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for San Antonio and much of the I-35 Corridor for Wednesday afternoon.
Daytime highs will reach at least 100 degrees in the region, but the Heat Index could get as high as 114.
Areas to the north, east, and southeast of Austin fall in an Extreme Heat Warning, which brings about even greater concern and more dangerous temperatures. The Heat Index in Houston could reach 115, while Dallas-Ft. Worth will feel like it is 108, or better.
If you have to spend much time outside this afternoon, precautions are advised. These include staying hydrated, wearing loose-fitting and light-colored clothing, and taking breaks indoors with air conditioning as much as possible.
