Hatebreed Announces New Album Fatal Paradox, Shares First Single
Grammy-nominated Connecticut hardcore/metal veterans Hatebreed will release their first studio album in six years, Fatal Paradox, on November 6 via BLKIIBLK, the heavy metal imprint of Frontiers Label Group. The band has also unveiled the lead single, “Kill Count Increase,” a blistering track produced by longtime collaborator Chris “Zeuss” Harris. Frontman Jamey Jasta describes the song as a fast, no-frills Hatebreed anthem that captures the intensity of the new album. The band will support the release by headlining the second leg of the 2026 Summer Slaughter Tour, which kicks off August 20 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
TRIVIUM Announces Fall 2026 Headline Tour, Teases New Era
Grammy-nominated metal veterans Trivium have announced a fall 2026 North American headline tour, signaling the start of the band’s next chapter with new music on the way. The trek kicks off November 5 in St. Petersburg, Florida, and wraps up December 19 in Charlotte, North Carolina, with the band planning to debut new material live. The tour features a powerhouse lineup with In Flames, Orbit Culture, Fit For An Autopsy, and Frozen Soul as support. Midwest stops include Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom on November 21 and The Sylvee in Madison, Wisconsin, on November 22. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, July 24, following a special presale beginning July 22.
Godsmack’s Awake Album Inspires New Graphic Novel
Sumerian Comics has teamed up with multi-platinum rock band Godsmack to release Godsmack: Awake, a 96-page original graphic novel inspired by the band’s breakthrough 2000 album Awake. The hardcover, now available for pre-order, reimagines the album’s themes as a dark supernatural story following a man haunted by violent visions and forced to confront his past on Halloween night. Written by Jonathan Hedrick with artwork by Giusi Lo Piccolo, the graphic novel is available in multiple collector’s editions, including a limited version featuring a signed bookplate from frontman Sully Erna. The release continues Godsmack’s celebration of the Awake era following the album’s recent reissue and the band’s new live album, Live At Mohegan Sun.
